Our self-catering cottages are not only equipped for a family holiday to remember but include cots, highchairs, bed guards, and stair gates free of charge.
Our indoor swimming pool offers all-weather fun on the doorstep and the Play Barn is cleverly designed to combine fun for the under-5s with activities for older children and teenagers while parents relax.

"Myself, wife and 3 children visited for 7 nights, what a beautiful place, something for everyone. We stayed in the farmhouse very clean and tidy, lots of room.
Having the swimming pool each day just for our family was a massive help for an hour, inspired my son to learn to swim and going everyday has helped a great deal.
Jill was always on hand if required, the play room had everything, whilst my sons played pool and table tennis, my daughter was happy playing with peppa pigs and dress up.
Value for money was incredible, we will 100% be back to this beautiful place"

"This was our first family holiday, our baby was 9 months old. The information we received beforehand was fantastic and arriving was so easy. We placed a tesco delivery, they had no problems finding the property. Everything was so clean and lovely. The stairgates were brilliant! A highchair was also provided, however our little one wasn't a fan of it so we used our own. All the little details from coffee pods to dishwasher tables to a bath mat in each changing room at the pool just made it feel more homely. Location was great for us and little one napped to/from places. The play barn was fantastic! We would visit again!"

"This was our third visit with our grandkids now 11, 10, 7, 6 which I suppose says it all. The facilities are great and the outdoor space is particularly good with young kids. The owner Jill, is very attentive and was quick to deal with any matters while we were there."

"We had a fantastic holiday at Lower Wood Farm, Jill was very accommodating and helpful. Russet was immaculately clean, spacious and just perfect for our family of 4. Jill provided a cot for my 2 year old and we all slept really well. The facilities at Lower Wood Farm are brilliant, the swimming pool is very clean and we loved that we could book private sessions. The play barn was amazing, and we struggled to get our children out of this. We would Highly recommend this holiday and can definitely see ourselves revisiting in the future. "Highly recommend Lower Wood Farm cottages definitely have the wow factor! Absolutely everything you need for a fabulous family holiday. It’s very quiet and a perfect safe location. The facilities are brilliant for young children and early teens ,with bikes, footballs, pedal toys and the play barn is like a toy shop. The swimming pool is lovely and warm and well maintained. The cottages are beautifully decorated and equipped with practically everything you need for your stay. The only things we actually needed to buy were cling film, aluminium foil and extra loo rolls! The only small issue was condensation in the bathroom after showering, probably needs a better ventilator installed. Would love to come again"

"We have now stayed in Cape Cottage a few times. Everything is to a very high standard,nothing is to much trouble for Jill, she goes over and above to make your stay comfortable and welcoming"

"BBQ availability difficult when site full. A rota like the swimming pool would have helped or an individual BBQ would be nice.
This would have helped planning the rvening meal.
Again when the site was full, drying became a problem as the washing line was too small.
However, small niggles about a great place to stay for all ages."

"We booked the cottage for a family of 9 for my husbands 60th birthday. We had a great week. Braeburn Barn was perfect for our needs and spotlessly clean. The grounds were kept to an immaculate standard and all the facilities were also immaculate.. Booking our slot at the pool was easy and we made lots of use of the grounds for football and other outdoor games games. We used the BBQ twice. Jill was the perfect host always on hand if we needed her. One of the nice touches was the fully laid kitchen table with cups and saucers and lovely cakes ready for us when we arrived after our journey. We will return.again."
