Lower Wood Farm boasts a superb indoor swimming pool. This excellent family facility has been constructed in the style of the existing farm buildings. The pool is 4.5 meters by 12.5 meters and is 1.2 meters deep. Wide steps ensure safe entry into the pool, which is maintained at a pleasant 31c, the under floor heating and air conditioning combine to ensure a year round tropical ambience. The changing area has cubicles, shower, toilet and baby changing facilities. The swimming pool is unsupervised. You are required to comply with our health and safety rules.

Enjoy a relaxing time on the sun terrace or in cottage gardens. Challenge the family in our games room to pool, table tennis or table football, under 5's are also catered for with an indoor play area.

In the Courtyard our popular Wendy House for young visitors has a selection of outdoor toys and bikes etc. Our covered outdoor dining area caters for over 20 guests with seating for lunch or evening family/party gatherings a large gas barbecue is provided.

The outdoor play paddock with swings and slide, goal posts, volley ball, cricket and pitch and putt is an excellent area for recreational games.

For those quiet moments a swinging seat where you can enjoy the views across the open countryside.

Lower Wood Farm has footpaths leading to Mautby, West Caister and through the marshes to the River Bure. Wildlife on the marshes include barn owl, deer, kingfisher, woodpeckers, hawks, ducks and geese and many more. You can access through to the country lanes for cycling to the local villages.


Young visitors enjoy pony trap rides around the grounds with Rosie the shetland.
